Literature Distribution
The overwhelming majority of financial contributions to VWHI go to literature purchases. Volunteers order, pickup, and distribute AA books to alcoholics who are unable to go out to meetings (“confined” alcoholics). Most of this is done face to face as AA members bring meetings into places like hospitals, prisons, etc.
Any AA member who lives, or group who meets, in the area VWHI operates (Maricopa County, AZ, plus some adjoining towns) may use the form below to request literature.
Keep in Mind: With few exceptions, VWHI prioritizes getting Big Books to confined alcoholics – when we have limited funds, orders for other items will be held back.
