Announcement from the Chair: Aaron D. | email@example.com
This Valleywide H&I Monthly Business Meeting is different than meetings that we find in the AA Meetings Lists and Directories. Typical AA meetings are scheduled to last one hour. Business meetings are conducted by committees adn we typically meet until the business is done. Please realize that the purpose of our Steering Committee is to focus on what ways we might conduct pertinent business in an effecient manner.
*moment of silence for Aaron B.
*Next ad hoc bylaws committee meeting: Thursday Dec 20th at 7pm at Jerry’s Restaurant in Phoenix.
*Steering committee will meet for a few minutes after the business meeting to talk about next steering committee meeting and Awareness Day financial report.
STEERING COMMITTEE REPORTS:
CO CHAIRPERSON: JJ | firstname.lastname@example.org
November was a month to remember in the life and times of our V.W.H.I. family/body.
First of all I am asking the entire body of V.W.H.I. to keep the family of Aaron Blaha in they’re prayers. There are no words to express my feelings of loss for the recovery community, with the loss of our Brother Aaron Blaha.
I am sure he is already Chairing that Great Big meeting in the sky, or greeting at the door, or being of service, somehow. All my Love goes out to Debbie, who is doing the best that she can to carry on that torch, that flame he carried for SERVICE!
I attended the 2019 Az Corrections Conference Committee meeting on last Saturday, December 8th, 2018, and volunteered to Co-Chair the Committee.
I’m really hoping that we can find at least 3 people to step up and cover the coordinator positions that have now been vacated with the loss of our Brother Aaron Blaha.
Last, but not least. I want to announce that the first meeting of the VWHI ADPC will be on Sunday, January 13th, at Dr. Bob’s Coffee, 4415 S. Rural Rd., Tempe, at 7:30pm. We will be meeting every week to begin with, and are in need of Committee members, Volunteers to help facilitate the Awareness Day event. The date Is still TBD.
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SERVICE!!
And Thank You for allowing me to be of service as your Co-Chairperson. Happy Holidays
