2. A confined alcoholic is defined as a person who is not free to leave a facility to attend outside A.A. meetings.
3. In ODD Months Corrections and Prisons will present their reports.
4. We are now active with Zelle, so just go to the donate page on vwhi.org if you use a debit card only you can have your bank assist with setting up Zell it is a straightforward free process.
5. Please allow all reports to be given and at the end of the reports you can ask your questions. Also, for those that are new or have questions not related to the reports, We will continue the after-meeting questions session where we stay on and answer your questions related to your new role as the home group H&I rep or alt. So, stay on after the closing and get your unanswered questions answered.
6. For Literature, please use the order form. Any questions contact Tim, the literature rep at literature@vwhi.org but do not use his email for orders.
7. Everyone online if you are a rep, please put your contact info (phone#, group name, and email address) in the chat also indicate if you are the Rep or alternate and if you are New in either position. If you do not put this info in chat your group will not be represented for the roll call or during any voting.
8. If we have anyone that would like to volunteer. Please put your contact info and indicate where you would like to volunteer treatment or corrections and the area you would like to do it in such as west valley east valley.
9. No volunteers should be contacting any of the facilities directly.

One subject that is an issue: many requests that are not H&I and are requesting books when they are staff in a facility. They cannot request books. They must be H&I.

If you have a felony they are not accepting. Not accepting those with previous DUIs. 3 years sobriety and a5 years off paper required.

BRIDGING THE GAP Rep: Deb B| bridgingthegap_chair@vwhi.org Pamplets are ready for volunteers phase one. Volunteers and volunteer training. Maricopa service meeting is first. Email blast will go out to reps. There is a QR code. Volunteers will be with the newcomer for 6 meetings. They will be coming to your neighborhood. Volunteer training on zoom. STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS:
AREA 03: Paul T| treatment@area03.org Tucson Conf Oct 12th. Dona will be on panel. Four panels. Information will be on the website. Montana is area 20. They are big on BTG. Area chairs are nonrotating. Updates for plain language for BB will be available soon. BTG guidelines will be available. Report will be forwarded by Paul. Sherry the BTG coordinator will give a database to H&I and will email to deb for coordination.
DISTRICT 08: Zack W | zworkman@email.arizona.edu MCSO meeting next week Tuesday the 17th Dona will be presenting badging training. If you attend you may have it count toward training for H&I training. They are serving food at 5:30pm.

CORRECTIONS
Watkins & TOWERS – ESTELLA Alex:| 35th Ave & Buckeye, South Phoenix: Open| towers_estrella_Watkins @vwhi.org Nothing changed with English meetings. Watkins. Spanish is 5 meetings a week. 9am to 10 am. Estrella is starting meetings again. Amanda is the coordinator now. She is reaching out to start setting up meetings again. Spanish meetings are starting at 12pm on Tuesdays.
PHOENIX WEST Open| Buckeye & 35th Ave, Phoenix: OPEN. | phoenix_west_prison@vwhi.org only one volunteer going in. They are getting ready to do a training in October.

LEWIS | Highway 85 & Patterson, Buckeye: Bruce. | lewis_prison@vwhi.org Lews has 6 units one is being remodeled. 4 are covered. One packet was turned in today So 5 would be covered. Online training wasn’t available. Bruce discussed with JayJay that the training site on the cover sheet is incorrect. It has to be corrected. They need to speak with Betty to get the corrected address. The address is corrections.az.gov/volunteer-opportunities
