Steering Committee
CHAIRPERSON: Debbie C. | chairperson@vwhi.org I am working on many things at once. If we have any of the Intergroups that don’t have a liaison I go to their business meetings, same with district 08, unfortunately I don’t go to district 16 because I haven’t mastered Spanish yet. I also want to thank everyone on the committee for their efforts in the improvements this year so far. We have new positions; new guidelines which will be posted to our site shortly and we are getting the health care recoveries active again. I was recently asked a question and I want everyone to know that VWHI continues to operate within the scope of our AA traditions and that we are not affiliated with anyone. If anyone ever feels we are not adhering to those traditions, please discuss it with me.

MCSO: David L | mcso_liaison@vwhi.org Only Estrella and Watkins are open right now, sent a lot of sponsor letters gave 4 cases of books to Watkins, if you’re looking to volunteer, please use the link on the corrections tab via our site. This link goes directly to the jail’s admin dept, and after you fulfill all the requirements David will be notified and will write up the sponsorship letter for you.

A new rep is attending tonight’s meeting for the first time. Also order the paper to print up the labels for the cans as part of his position.

We have No updates on church meeting locations yet. We are still hopeful we can relocate to an area near the 101 in Tempe. If anyone has any suggestions, please share them during new business.

STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS:
AREA 03: Paul T| treatment@area03.org Delegate returned from new York and gave his report. The report is provided online at area03.org if interested we sent 10.8 4 million to gso which was up from 10.55in 2022 expenses are down from 17.47 to 15.9 more on the report.
DISTRICT 08: Zack W | zworkman@email.arizona.edu Has individuals interested in volunteering to Estrella and Perryville Was given email address to the respective coordinators. Plans to create a flyer to share our open positions.
SPANISH DISTRICT 16: Alex| Thanked everyone with patience while she gets up to speed with her position with all her questions, she is working on getting the donations from the district to us. And just learned that Salvador is still the intergroup liaison and will collaborate closely with him to get us updated monthly.

SPANISH INTERGROUP: Salvador| Is the east valley and district16 is the west Valley Salvador gave a 100.00 contribution at church tonight gave him a receipt. Robert shared that they will be hosting the post conference next year.

Questions and answer section YaYa Belles new rep who I can contact to become a non-rogue group going into the Maverick house, It was suggested that someone attend the training prior to books being given out. A. Dona will get back to her on the training aspect.
